This does actually attract and hold smaller flies. The only problem so far is that they stick to the front too. Unlike other models out there this doesn’t have a cover over the front, so you see a number of the dead flies. So wouldn’t recommend this one if it’s going to be in a visible place.

Technically it does what it’s supposed to do: trap flies. If your looking for a quick solution for fruit flies, put a drop of dish soap in ACV. However, this product does trap flies over time. Not a bad buy.

Works really well! I only wish that the light was a little more powerful, it’s great at night but during the day I’m not sure how effective it is because I don’t know how attracted the insects are to the light. Nonetheless, it’s still collecting a good amount of gnats/tiny bugs each day and I’m happy with my purchase. Really appreciate that it comes with a decent amount of refills as well.

I bought this for my moms kitchen. After all the rain it brought gnats, mosquitoes, flys. I plugged it in by her back door and window. It seems to be catching little gnats that are annoying and hard to see. She’s pretty happy about it.

I had bought this for my kitchen to help with the fruit flies that kept cooking in my fruit basket. About 3 days later I was surprised to see they were all gone and how much this little trap had caught. Besides fruit flies it had caught regular flies that have got in the house with my kids opening the back door. I will be purchasing another for my laundry room.
